Hi! I am a Michigan transplant all the way from Katy, Texas. Hence, "The Texan living up north". I am an Occupational Therapist and I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Masters of Science. I graduated in 2014 and have been in practice since 2015. I am currently a school based OT. Originally I started with a word press blog however, life has gotten busy since becoming an OT and having a daughter. In 2023 I failed yet again to get lavender to grow from seeds. Late that summer I thought to try one more trick to be able to plant some lavender in my garden. Then over 200 plants sprouted. At that point I could not transplant them, so I attempted to keep them alive in my house! We ended up having 100 lavender plants survive. This is how our small hobby farm started. If you come by you can meet the 5 quails. Buck, Matilda, Lizzy, Pip and Cherio. As well as the rest of the fluffy chicken squad. We also have two dogs.
